Starting with working as the Assistant Property Controller for Sears on the West Coast, Ron transitioned into Real Estate by working both as retail development representative with Arden-Mayfair and Alpha Beta, and as an independent developer since 1969. His knowledge of both sides of the aisle for Tenants and Landlords, provides a unique perspective and ability of how projects are created and developed. Qualified as an expert in Real Estate by the Santa Clara County court system, Ron has used his expertise and abilities to develop over 5,000,000 SF of retail facilities in over 14 states.
Starting with a Masters in (Geometric) Mathematics from Brandeis University, Vera has grounded her knowledge in the design and development arena with positions in engineering companies such as PLS Engineering, Bentley Engineering and Enron. After working for SASCO, an electrical contractor, she honed her knowledge of CEQA compliance at Michael Brandman Associates - an environmental consulting company - through her work with The Irvine Company and other major clients in Orange County. She is currently assisting Robert Kubicek Architects and Associates for plan processing, problem solving and permit acquisition. Her vast background and knowledge can assist any company to achieve their development goals.

2.5 acres on the north side of the project were sold to a garden office developer. The balance of the property, developed as a neighborhood shopping center anchored by Albertsons and Payless Drugs, was built out with shops: Boston Market, Taco Bell, Burger King, Texaco and Wells Fargo - total building area was approximately 145,000 SF.
San Pablo & Fairmount
Located at the southern border of El Cerrito with neighboring Albany, this 32 acre project was redeveloped in 2001 and contains approximately 350,000 SF of retail building areas. Anchored by Albertsons in a 67,000 SF store along with Ross, BB&B, Barnes & Nobles, Long's Drug Store, Trader Joe's and another 150,000 SF of shops and stores. This project is the dominant shopping complex up and down the San Pablo retail corridor.

Building permits which included Health Department clearances and School District approval have numerous steps leading to Certificates of Occupancy. We do it all timely and inexpensively.
Governmental approvals are critical to the success of any project. Changes to plans occur almost with regularity due to changes in circumstances, market conditions, lender concerns, and governmental requirements. We can get you through the process with the minimum amount of time and money needed to achieve the goals.
We coordinate all of the various consultant's plans including architectural, structural, landscaping, civil, MEP, demolition, etc. We submit plans to jurisdiction for approvals and coordinate response to comments to make sure that all of the corrections needed have been made by respective consultant.
We can also coordinate with your contractor for issues from Value Engineering (VE) to Requests For Information (RFIs) and correction coordination with your architect and their other design consultants.
